We’d like to thank Roncia for coming in to talk to the children about her role as a seamstress/ tailor and for doing a sewing activity with us.
Thank you Ms. Marilyn and Ms. Kay for coming in to teach the children about plants that live through the winter.
In our recent Community Day, Farmer Sarah visited our school, educating us on farming, grape vine pruning, and more. We enjoyed hands-on activities like yoga, art, and games, and had a blast with the new equipment. Thank you, Farmer Sarah!
April Community Day! We were thrilled to host the talented Ben from @hookandsaw. Ben engaged with our amazing children, sharing his passion for carpentry and woodworking.
We welcomed Spring with a gardening extravaganza! Marilyn from the Grimsby Garden Club showed us the ropes, we explored gardening and interacted with various plants, created garden art, and even planted in our new cedar boxes. A perfect day to welcome Spring - thanks Marilyn!
For our January Community Day, we welcomed Jordan, a local Mechanical Engineer, to join us for the morning in our Kindergarten program. He talked with our students about the role of an Engineer and how Engineers contribute to our community.
